Since Spring registration is almost here, I took a look at the classes available for Spring 2010. Surprisingly, UMBC doesn't offer many "art" classes. Well, they do offer art history classes and beginner drawing classes, but that's just not what I'm after. In high school, I spent all four years painting, sketching, blending, pottery...ing and now there's nothing. My friend suggested taking pottery classes with her at HCC to fulfill the requirements and I just might. Here's hoping my teacher won't be like Collins...
Ah, that reminds me; I have start that charcoal sketch soon.

I am having the same problem with UMBC not having many classes i want to take. They do not have the major I want to take and the classes I want to take are always full. I hope I will get some more option next semester but, I'm already gonna be late for registration since I will not be able to see my adviser until the fourth.
ReplyDeleteWow, maybe most of the art classes are full? Thats strange, I mean UMBC should offer art classes like painting and script writing in theater. Hmm..I did see some nice theater classes but they were full :(. I also need permission from the teacher first so thats another thing that bothers me...that we have to get permission from a teacher before we register for classes.
ReplyDeleteTrevor: I hear what you mean. I had to go through each category to find something I was even remotely interested in. Hopefully I can get into a language class. Ah, that sucks! I hope you got a few classes you're interested in!
ReplyDeleteSabrina: Yea, I need permission, too. Even with it, I believe there only the sketching classes would interest me. blahhhh :/
